FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH 2022 Program Recipients Announced
Suddenly Dance Theatre's Fountain of Youth Program aims to support dance artists under the age of 26 to build new and diverse choreographic voices.
In 2022, with the help of Dance Victoria and Stages Performing Arts School, we have grown the program to support three recipients: ELVIS EZE, JAREN GUERREIRO, and ANDREA LEMUS.

EPISODE 2: TIGER IN THE CITY
Suddenly Dance Theatre is currently in production of the next instalment of our dance film series inspired by Korean folklore and absurdist silent-film comedy.
TIGER IN THE CITY follows solitary Horangi (Hoyeon Kim) who leaves the comfort of nature for the lure of the city. Featuring Canada's LYNDA RAINO. Directed by David Ferguson with another pulsing soundtrack by Miles Lowry.

INTERNATIONAL COLLABORATION
Suddenly Dance Theatre's DAVID FERGUSON
continues to work with HOYEON KIM (South Korea) on the Dance Victoria Chrystal Prize awarded project 'We are Diamonds'. Featuring dancers Gunwoo Jun, Jungha Lim, Choe Youngtak, and Jooha Lee.

IN A NUTSHELL
A NEW PLAY BY DAVID FERGUSON
Suddenly Dance Theatre's DAVID FERGUSON has been commissioned by the Belfry Theatre to write a new play starring LYNDA RAINO inspired by Frances Glessner Lee, who in the 1940’s made the ‘Nutshell Studies of Unexplained Death’ - a series of dollhouse-sized death-scenes to teach the police how to conduct themselves in real-life crime scenes.
